Bern Hotel - Istanbul

Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcomed.

The room was disappointingly small and cramped. Even though it was advertised as 30m2, it clearly felt less. The television didn't work, and we received no response when we requested it be fixed. The promised daily cleaning was inconsistent. Sometimes we wouldn't even have clean towels.

All in all room was good; also provided a roll-in shower. Location: the hotel was close to Aksaray metro station which is straight line from airport Ataturk, restaurants for old and new cities and public transport...

I booked a clean room with an electronic key card, tea/coffee making equipment, and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The staff were constantly very helpful and excellent.

Breakfast was a culinary delight, with a spread that felt mad really like a feast fit for a sultan. Ali made everything easy, and the clean, cozy room was just what we needed after exploring Istanbul's wonders. Don't forget to check out the Hadramout Yemen restaurant nearby for rich flavors!

While the room was a bit snug and the TV took a vacation, it didn't overshadow the charm of our stay. Towels were sometimes elusive, but who needs them when you're soaking up the local culture?

This hotel was a strong match for a brief sojourn in Istanbul with real value for money. The location to city transport was great, making it easy to explore. If you're a light sleeper, consider packing earplugs for the early morning prayers.

The hotel had great proximity to Aksaray Metro Station. Made it so easy to travel to key attractions and the airport. The room was clean and well maintained. Kawtar at the reception offered fantastic assistance, always smiling and providing helpful tips about local dining. Breakfast included many options, but some days the variety felt a bit basic. The bar next door was open late and was quite noisy at night, which disrupted sleep. Even though staff were friendly, there were some instances where requests took longer than expected. A decent place but some improvements are definitely needed in service speed and managing noise levels.

The hotel's location was fantastic, right by the metro and T1 tramway station. the room was clean and had convenient amenities like an electric kettle and a refrigerator. We enjoyed having a bathtub in the room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The location couldn't be better, just steps away from the tram station. Breakfast was very good with vast options. A special shoutout to Kawtar, who was helpful. Don't miss asking for local dining tips!
